Thursday, May 30th we hosted the first part of our seven-part webinar series aimed to orient incoming DU families to the structure and requirements of the university, as well as provide support to help you better support your student's journey at DU. A huge thank you to the Dean of Students office for joining and welcoming the newest class at the University of Denver.
Below you will find the recording of the webinar and a PDF of the slidedeck.
The first webinar entitled 'Welcome to DU! New Student & Family Programs and Dean of Students Welcome' detailed an overview of your student's orientation and first-quarter experience at DU. We introduce you to our entire New Student and Family Programming Team (NSFP) to outline the new student experience and family orientation. We were joined by the Dean of Students Office providing an overview of many of DU's most important student support programming and support systems. We covered your student's new student summer timeline and gave an overview of all components required for your student to start in the fall.
We understand how busy our families can be, so if you are unable to attend any of the live webinars and want to review the information, please utilize the links provided below or the provided PDF. After each webinar, we will upload a copy of the slides and audio recording to our DU Family Experience portal AND to our DU Family Webinar Series webpage.
